Lomas has been with Dalton since round-the-world yacht race days and is a veteran of the 2000, 2003 and 2007 America’s Cups. Faced with a slightly damaged trophy of world renown, Emirates Team New Zealand did the only decent thing. They fixed it. The hi-tech ETNZ engineering workshop swung into action. The cup was restored to its full glory although there may have been, for those in the know, a little inscription hidden inside. It reads, apparently, something like: “We damaged it, we fixed it.” The workmanship appears to have been good enough to pass muster with the exacting quality controllers at Louis Vuitton. It was the second time in two days that Dalton’s quick humour struck. At the (visit site) Louis Vuitton press conference after Team NZ won the cup, TVNZ’s Martin Tasker put up his hand to ask a question. Tasker was the one caught out by a live microphone during a telecast of the Louis Vuitton as he made an entirely innocent comment which sounded a lot worse than intended – and which rocketed round the internet.
The seminal brand took Dianna to its Fiesso dArtico factory outside of Venice before styling her in some of its newest looks for Glamour Magazine. First time round: The dress is a souvenir from the star’s trip to Italy earlier this year where Dianna posed for a Louis Vuitton fashion shoot The dress was a clear favourite during the shoot, so it is no surprise she has chosen to rock the printed look again. She said to Glamour: ‘I’m usually low-key, but when LV dressed me, I felt somehow mischievous and fabulous at the same time. ‘But also, when I wore those gorgeous dresses and heels, I was reminded that, as an actress, the style choices I make influence how directors think of me. Theres power in fashion.’ Simple add ons: The 27-year-old accessorised her look with a pair of cross-hatched sandals, a big black designer bag and a pair of round framed sunglasses The star confessed she was not always into fashion – no doubt that has changed since landing the role of cheerleader Quinn Fabray on her hit show.

IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT Counterfeit Louis Vuitton purse. Email | LinkedIn | Twitter | Google+ Fashion house Louis Vuitton Malletier won a new judgment Tuesday against counterfeiters in Miami federal court for $1.6 million. The judgment is the latest in a growing trend of Italian and French designers filing litigation in South Florida to defend their brand. Trademark attorney Stephen Gaffigan obtained the judgment against 67 website domains that sold 13 types of merchandise. The order by U.S. District Judge Marcia Cooke also orders PayPal to freeze and turn over funds in accounts for the website sales. Like many of Gaffiganas cases, registration of the domains was traced to entities with Chinese names. Service of the lawsuit, however, was never returned and a default judgment was entered. Paul Brinkmann covers law, accounting, automotive, energy and environmental issues.
